Accommodation

Skiary has room for six guests at a time, making it ideally suited to individuals, couples, families and small groups. Despite the surrounding wilderness, the cottage is comfortable and tastefully decorated.

We have two twin rooms, and one double room. The rooms are cosy; with hand made quilts, wall-mounted oil lamps and hot water bottles.

There is a shared guest bathroom, with a large bath and hot water from the Rayburn. Towels are provided.

The comfortable sitting room has an open fire, plenty of books and board games and views down the loch towards Ladhar Bheinn. The clockwork barometer and Tilley table lamps are a wonderful reminder of our lack of electricity.

We have a midge-free heated greenhouse for dining, built on a stone terrace with panoramic views of the mountains and ever-changing tides. At dusk deer come down from the hills to graze on the foreshore.
